Mā Te Rongo Āke – Initial Commission Report presents an early kaupapa Māori vision for improving mental wellbeing in Aotearoa, grounded in Māori lived experience, values, and aspirations. It emphasises rangatiratanga, whānau strength, cultural identity, and Tiriti‑based partnership, and calls for Māori‑led solutions and system transformation to address inequities and support Māori to flourish.
