Taranaki Public Health Unit is seeking a Medical Officer of Health for the Taranaki Region to join the Public Health team. We are seeking applicants who hold vocational registration for the scope of Public Health Medicine Specialist and meet the requirements for designation as a Medical Officer of Health.
You will be responsible for:
- providing public health advice and medical officer of health functions associated with the Public Health Unit
- COVID19 response management and planning
- Supporting better health outcomes for the Taranaki population
