An exciting opportunity has presented for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Community Mental Health and Addictions service in Hastings.

Community Mental Health & Addiction Services South (Hastings) are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

·       Experience and passion for working alongside people with Mental Health and Addictions issues.

·       A Nurse that advocates for their patients and works with a recovery-based model.

·       Passion and drive to make a difference.

·       Promote positive mental health experience and improve outcomes for people with Mental Health and Addictions issues.

·       Show initiative with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

·       Excellent clinical skills.

·       Willingness to contribute to the on-going development of the service.

·       Able to work in a supportive multidisciplinary team and work autonomously.

·       Excellent assessment and intervention skills to work effectively with people and their families.

·       Effective communication skills

·       Well-developed time management skills

·       Cultural awareness that is incorporated into your practice.

·       Current New Zealand Registration

·       Full driver’s licence

·       2 + years of clinical experience

 

You will play a vital role in the delivery of care to people who a severely impacted by Mental Health and Addiction issues in the community.
